Voices – a Virtual Arts Exhibition

Ivy Huang, a student from the University of Maryland, collected images of art created by people with speech or language disorders. A part of ArtsFest 2022, Ivy curated this exhibition.

Ivy visited IAM to describe her project. A number of participants in IAM are included in the exhibition – Martina Beverly, Donna Blum, Charlene Edwards, Jonathan Kreuter, and Kitty Tong.

All the art works are unique and expressive. Each artist also made a statement about their art.

Thanks for creating this lovely exhibition, Ivy!

Congratulations to everyone who participated our recent event
Telling Our Stories!

On October 11, 2021,
International Aphasia Movement
held a Zoom Benefit

free speech and language therapy
to people with aphasia.

Several of our members shared their stories of living with aphasia.

We played fun word games.

Lucky prize winners took home gift cards and other fabulous prizes!

Everyone had a good time!

We hope to see you at our next event!
